Alameda County Social Services Agency Director, Andrea Ford, shared her perspective on the importance of this ongoing effort, stating: “This initiative continues to be about recognizing fathers for all they do and reminding them that their role matters. We want every father who walks through our doors to feel valued, supported, and seen.”
This Father’s Day initiative highlights ACSSA’s commitment to recognizing the vital role fathers play in strengthening families and communities. The essential‑goods bags were thoughtfully assembled to promote self‑care, provide everyday necessities, and convey appreciation for the fathers connected to ACSSA’s services.
